The Tudeley Singers is a top amateur choir based in Kent. Formed in 2018, the choir sings services in cathedrals during the holidays, and a number of concerts each year in aid of various charities.
21/08/21: The lockdowns have been hard on everyone these last few months. We were very fortunate to get some services in this summer, at Westminster Abbey and Canterbury Cathedral (recordings to follow!), albeit with a reduced number of singers. We are looking forward to singing altogether when it becomes safe to do so.
28/10/20: How lucky we were to squeeze in one Evensong at Canterbury between the lockdowns! Choir on top form - recordings to follow!
07/12/19: "The best choral concert we've ever heard here in Kent!" - the sold-out concert in the stunning church of All Saints' Church, Tudeley was possibly the choir's best yet. The two soloists were superb, and the concert raised about £800 for the Chagall Window Preservation Trust.
27/09/19: The Duruflé concert tonight was a great success - the choir and soloists all performed beautifully, and over £1000 was raised for the Tonbridge School Foundation.
28/08/19: Evensong at Southwark Cathedral was lovely this afternoon. The soloists in the choir were particularly good in the English Baroque repertoire.
11/08/19: The Tudeley Singers have just completed a fantastic weekend of singing: Evensong at Westminster Abbey on Friday 9th August, and Rochester cathedral residency over the following weekend. All the services went very well and the choir been invited back to both venues. Someone in the nave even gave the choir a "whoop" after their Wesley anthem on Saturday!
